The Appraisal Education Center, a licensed real estate appraisal school in Illinois, provides aspiring real estate appraisers with high quality instruction which sets the stage for the state test and a career as a real estate appraiser.
Most courses are held at local Chicago land hotel facilities. The atmosphere within the classroom is professional and friendly. We welcome questions. Students take a series of three courses starting with the Appraisal Principles course followed by the Appraisal Procedures course and finally the Standards and Ethics course. Each course ends with a final examination.
Once all three courses have been taken and each of the final exams passed, The Appraisal Education Center sends a signed and sealed passing certificate to the student. The student can then apply for the state exam which requires the applicant to include a copy of the certificate along with the application.
Courses offered at The Appraisal Education Center were designed to ensure students understand the basic appraisal principles and procedures needed for a successful real estate appraisal career.
The course and materials provided by The Appraisal Education Center are consistent with criteria established by The Appraisal Foundation and cover topics addressed in the state test outline.
