Practice For Appraisal License

At the Appraisal Education Center, plentiful real life examples, problems and quizzes are given to help the pre-license appraiser practice for the state of Illinois associate appraiser's test.

Our Appraisal Principles class introduces appraisal fundamentals and key concepts which create the foundation needed for the IL2-08 class, Appraisal Procedures. The Appraisal Procedures class takes you through the various steps needed to complete a residential appraisal report including research, analysis, inspections development and reporting. The third course, Standards and Ethics, familiarizes appraisers with the competency and ethical requirements in the industry.

During the Appraisal Procedures course, students will have the opportunity to practice extracting data from the MLS, enter data on an adjustment grid and estimate fair market value by the sales comparison approach.
