Are you considering a career as a residential appraiser? By taking courses at The Appraisal Education Center, you will learn the principles and procedures needed to complete a real estate appraisal on a house or a 2-4 unit apartment building.
The Appraisal Education Center is a state licensed Appraisal School. We are current with The Appraisal Foundation’s required criteria and we are licensed through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
The appraisal instructor for class is a seasoned veteran who skillfully draws upon real life experiences as practical applications to the material provided during the course. The Appraisal Education Center not only takes aspiring appraisers through the material needed to pass the state exam but also prepares the appraiser for the day-to-day activities and procedures needed for appraisal practice. Examples include instruction on how to measure a house, interior and exterior inspections, gathering market data, analyzing comparable sales and completing the appraisal report – just what you would expect from an appraisal school.
