Are you considering a career in real estate appraisal? The Appraisal Education Center provides the courses that are needed for your real estate appraisal license. All courses offered by the Appraisal Education Center are licensed through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Text books are included in the tuition. Your instructor is an experienced real estate appraiser and appraisal instructor who will guide you along the correct path.
All real estate pre-license courses offered at The Appraisal Education Center are presented in accelerated format. Please see our upcoming classes page for details regarding current offering dates, times and locations. We have open house informational career seminars which are open to the public at no charge. These career seminars will help you become more familiar with our scheduled programs and also cover frequently asked questions such “What is a typical day like for an appraiser?” and “How much money can I make as an appraiser?”. The presentation concludes with details about the real estate appraisal courses provided at The Appraisal Education Center and then opens to the audience for questions and answers.
After you complete the coursework, you will come away with a good understanding of the appraisal business. You will also be better prepared for the state examination.
